Terms and conditions.

Registration and Fees.

  1. Books and a musical instrument are required for all students. These are at the cost of the student. They can be bought on www.singmiddleeast.com store or via your own channels. Your teacher will inform you of the correct books for your child. Approximately 2-3 books are needed over 4 months of lessons. 
  2. All lesson and book fees/purchases are non-refundable. 
  3. Concert fees, accessories and instruments etc. are not included in the lesson package price.
  4. Fees must be paid in full for the term prior to the start of lessons either as direct bank transfer or online via the website. . 
  5. Instruments, products or accessories purchased are not able to be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
  6. Term 1 2025 dates for lessons are as follows: Monday 12 Lessons-September 1/8/22/29,  October 6/20/27, November 3/10/17,/24, Dec 8. Tuesday 12 Lessons September 2/9/23/30,  October 7/21/28, November 4/11/18/25., December 9th. Wednesday 12 Lessons- September 3/10/24, October 1/8/22/29, November 5/12/19/26, Dec 10. Thursday 11 Lessons-September 11/25, October 2/9/23/30, November 6/13/20/27, December 9. Friday 11 Lessons-September 5/12/26, October 3/10/24/31, November 7/14/21/28, Sunday Lessons-August 31, September 7/21/28,  October 5/12/19, 26, November 2/9/16/23/30. Damac Hills 2 Choir dates-Fridays 1-2pm and 2-3pm on September 5/12/26, October 3/10/17/24/31, November 7/14/21/28.

Lesson schedule.

  1. Lesson timing allocation is subject to availability.
  2. Lessons will be booked at regular time slots as per above dates for the duration of the package.
  3. If a student wishes to take an online lesson instead of a face-to-face lesson, the student must inform admin 24 hours ahead of the lesson on info@singmiddleeast.com. 

Cancellations and Make-Up Lessons. Please read carefully. 

  1. Durham School-make up lessons will fall in the last week of term only. 1 per term. Make up lessons will be given subject to teacher availability. They must be used within 4 weeks of the missed class and cannot be made up past the end of term. The dates for make up lessons for non-school based students for Term 1 are: Saturday 11th October 1-5pm. November 29th 1-5pm. No other options are available. Teachers are fully booked which makes made up classes having to take place on their only day off. Make up classes are limited to 1 per term unless extra make up slots are available the day prior to the make up lesson. If no other make up options are available your child may be offered a small group make up lesson on the 11th of October (1 45 minute slot during 1-5pm) or November the 29th (1 45 minute slot during 1-5pm). This is subject to the availability of the teacher. 
  2. A minimum of 12 hours notice must be provided, in writing to info@singmiddleeast.com or WhatsApp 05523798829 if a student cannot make a scheduled lesson.
  3. If a lesson is missed or less than 12 notice is provided, no make up option will be given and the class fee is forfeited. This includes for emergencies, illness etc.
  4. There are no make up option for orchestra  or choir lessons. 
  5. It is the responsibility of the student to book a make-up lesson. Make-up lessons can be taken face-to-face or online. Saturday 11th October 1-5pm. November 29th 1-5pm are the only make up slots for Term 1 2025 and are on a first booked first allocated basis.
  6. Rescheduled lessons and make-up lessons cannot be rescheduled again.
  7. If the teacher is unavailable for a make-up lesson or the student cannot come at the offered timings, the lesson is forfeited.
  8. No lessons take place on public holidays or when the teachers are on professional development days (Sept 10-15th). These dates won’t be charged for.
  9. Make-up lessons cannot be carried forward beyond the end of the last date mentioned above in registration and fees, in any circumstances.

Renewals.

  1. Renewal of lessons/dates/times are on a first come first served basis. Registration for the following term can be made online from December 1st 2025. 

Policies.

  1. All communications for scheduling and re-scheduling, making payments, absences etc. must be done through info@singmiddleeast.com or WhatsApp 0552378829. 
  2. SingME will not be held responsible if communication is not made in writing.
  3. SingME will be closed as per KHDA and government announcements which are subject to change. Classes will not operate during weekday school half-term holidays. 
  4. Sing ME recommends that all students purchase an instrument for home practice to ensure progress.
  5. Rentals can be made for clarinet, flute and saxophone @AED500 per term. info@singmiddleeast.com  for further info. 
  6. Sing ME reserves the right to change the schedule, teacher and venue should it be necessary. 
  7. In the event of an Act of God or Force Majeure, Sing ME will provide online lessons. 

School Code of Conduct.

  1. Sing ME Code of Conduct and Studio Policies must be adhered to at all times.
  2. Students must arrive at the lesson start time. If the student is late and to prevent disruption to the next student, the teacher cannot extend a lesson beyond the scheduled end time.
  3. Parents/guardians must be inside the studio location at the start of the lesson time and at the end of the lesson on time, to ensure the student’s safety at class handover time and to ensure all lessons run on time.
  4. Parents/guardians are updated in each lesson on progress via WhatsApp. Any additional messages/queries are welcome via WhatsApp.
  5. Students are responsible to bring their instrument and required books to the lesson and to practice at home as required. Failure to practice or bring the necessary books, may impact on the students’ progress.
  6. Students must wear appropriate clothing to class.

Data Protection.

  1. Online lessons are automatically recorded for the safety and security of students and quality of lessons.
  2. Online lessons recordings are held securely and will not be sent, used or published to any external party due to confidentiality and privacy, this  includes to the student.
  3. Sing ME may take photos and videos during lessons and performances to be used for training, marketing, social media and other publications as required. If you do not wish to have photos or videos taken of your child please email info@singmiddleeast.com at the start of term. 
  4. Sing ME holds information about its customers, to enable Sing ME to carry out its business. This information includes the customer contact details and student record information. Sing ME will not disclose any information to any third party.

  6. Polo and Equestrian Club Choir 10am-11am Sundays-September  9/23/230  October 7/14/21, 28, November 4/11/18/25/30. 
  7. Polo and Equestrian Club Orchestra September  11:15am to 12 Mid day. Sundays-9/23/230  October 7/14/21, 28, November 4/11/18/25/30.
